In two old ledgers labelled as scrapbooks no. 43 and no. 44, C.R. Green has pasted articles from the National Tribune in Washington, D.C., written primarily by former confederate officers, George D. Mosgrove and Jubal A. Early. Mosgrove's serial articles include "Bugle notes from Dixie," "The Crossing of the river," "Back to old Kentucky," "Morgan's men under Duke," "Morgan and his men," and "Bugle and drum." Jubal A.
